Lifeguard
Eligible applicants will be contacted to sign up for training sessions scheduled Mar 18 – May 24. Training serves as the interview process.
- Lifeguard (16+): The overall responsibility of a lifeguard is the safety and operation of the waterpark rides and attractions. Team Members are responsible for monitoring the safety of park guests at pools and water attractions.
- No experience is necessary. Ellis and Associate Lifeguard Certification is required and is provided by the park for a fee.
Food & Beverage
Eligible applicants will be contacted for interviews scheduled for Mar 11 – Apr 19.
Restaurants and food carts are located throughout the park. Team Members are involved in preparing and serving food, cleanup, as well as cashiering. Applicants will need to be able to maintain a friendly attitude while working quickly and efficiently.
- Cabana Server (19+): Multiple private cabanas are available in the park for reservation by guests, designed to treat themselves to a day of luxury relaxation. Our cabana servers are responsible for providing extraordinary guest service by being prompt, friendly, helpful, available, and anticipating guests’ needs throughout their stay. Some other responsibilities include: checking guests into their cabana, taking food and beverage orders, inputting orders into the computer, delivering orders and condiments, and meeting the guests’ every need throughout their day.
- Cook (16+): Do you possess patience, good sense of humor and are enthusiastic? Do you remain calm under pressure? Whether you are a culinary student or a seasoned culinary specialist, this position is for you.
- Bartender (21+): What‘s the next best thing to bartending on a tropical island?! Bartending outdoors at a water park! Our bartenders work directly with guests by mixing and serving drink orders.
- Bar Back (19+): Interested in kickstarting a career in the hospitality industry? This is a great opportunity to gain first-hand experience in bar operations by taking on simple tasks to support our bartenders and guests.
- Cocktail Server (19+): Do you love sunshine, summertime, and interacting with people? Come join our cocktail server team and get paid to conversate with new people while facilitating their food and beverage needs.
- Food Runner (14+): Do you enjoy keeping your body moving and an outdoor environment? Our food runners focus on delivering food to our guests with a smile and pep in their step!
- Food Cashier (14+): Great way to build friendships for years to come! If you thrive on responsibility, are self-sufficient and have excellent math and guest service skills, we want you to join our team.
Park Services
Eligible applicants will be contacted for interviews scheduled for Mar 25 – 27.
- Park Services (14+): Members of the Park Services Team are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the park, deck, and dining areas. Applicants must be courteous, efficient, and work well by themselves.
Pressure Washing
Eligible applicants will be contacted for interviews scheduled for Mar 25 – 27.
- Pressure Washers (16+): Members of this team will pressure wash the park from 6:00am until opening and then transition to Park Services Team until approximately 2:00pm. Members of this team must be hard-working, motivated and reliable. Applicants must be able to work independently.
Admissions
Eligible applicants will be contacted for interviews scheduled for Mar 4 – 14.
- Admissions (16+): Members of the Admissions Team work at the front of the park greeting guests, performing daily ticket and season pass sales, and control the entrance and exit of the park. Position requires an outstanding personality, ability to handle money, and attention to detail.
Gift Shop
No longer accepting applications.
- Gift Shop (14+): Do you enjoy seeing guests happy? Our gift shop attendants provide guests with lasting memories by assisting in the sale of Roaring Springs fashion and memorabilia.
Please note:
- Roaring Springs does hire some of 14 and 15 year olds for limited hours in certain positions.
- Please only submit one application. You’ll have the opportunity to be considered for multiple positions in the application process.
